Ev range
Hi all,
I have a p400e on order. What sort of range are people getting on EV only? I hear 20 miles is achievable if it’s not too cold. Assuming no preconditioning of the cabin, grateful to hear owners’ experiences. How does it vary from warm to cold days? Cheers.

I’ve had 30 miles out of a battery when drifting along at a fairly constant speed, while on a cold day in stop-start urban traffic you might get about 20 miles. Cheers, David

Last summer I got out 40-42km of pure electric driving before the engine kicked in. Now as it's winter, the EV range I achieve is somewhere from 17km (-20C) to 35km (+5C), give or take. 22MY Defender 110 P400e SE w/ Off-Road Pack, Driver Assist Pack, Cold Climate Pack, Comfort & Convenience Pack + ClearSight Rear-View Mirror & 11.4" Infotainment Screen

Thanks - a bit better than I was expecting. We probably average around 5 Degrees in winter where I am so should have enough range to cover 80% of my regular commute and hopefully all of it in summer. I see the new Range Rover can do upwards of 60 miles. That's a game changer as that'd cover most people's commutes both ways I'd have thought. Pity the Defender is more limited - I guess it'll be upgraded for future model years with further range but the 20 or so miles still makes it a compelling choice for me. Looking forward to receiving it next week and giving it a test.

EV range
Managed to get 37kms of electric range this week on one charge and came back with 8% charge. So was super happy with that.

Hi!, new here but absolutely loving my brand new (well not so mega new, it used to be a dealer demo car, which actually does mean it's quite loaded) p400e. And to answer: I'm amazed by the mileage. Yes on a highway, once it starts to charge while driving the mileage is about 1 liter to about or slightly above 10kms (by a fairly regular but also dynamic style of driving between a 100km/h and 120km/h: yes to the speed lane but with not such a heavy gas foot). But! When driving between the suburb area where I live and the Amsterdam city centre (access road is max 80km/h, followed by city roads with speeds between 50km/h and 30km/h) with traffic lights the mileage is...well Smile amazing. It regularly does between 1 liter to about between 15km and 25km. While driving with not so much pressure on the gaspedal/go button Smile it still pulls nicely in EV mode while only at the 'top end' activating the petrol engine.

Yes it does have some quirks: software updates, gps/4g sim connection but in general I'm amazed by the looks and how it performs. I quite love this awesome car and can state: LR did a great job and I can quite recommend it haha!
