Have you got kit than can read ecu? If so check voltage to pedal. May just be a new pedal assembly required
Ian at IRB is that sort of area and he is a defender genius, with mega knowledge on them. . |

Hi Simmo. A pain. Have you had your ECU remapped? A bad remap will cause driver demand (DD) problems as the sensors, ECU and pedal are all miss-matched. My previous remap on Miffy had a bad remap and was constantly throwing up DD errors. One remap by Alive tuning later and she has not thrown a DD error in nearly twelve months. The throttle pedal has historically been blamed for a whole host of issues on TD5s and if you scan through the forums you will see that very few throttle replacements fix this problem. As Lady Andy has said get your ECU plugged in and check those voltages as a first step. |

Ok. you have a 10p engine so do you have a 2 track or a 3 track pedal? Think it should be a 2 track on a 1999 TD5. Go through the Nanocom settings menu and double check you do not have it checked as a 3 track as that will confuse your ECU.
