Tim re heating, I totally agree. My present Volvo does this as long as the outside temp is below 10 C. I can preset the heated seats and steering wheel to come at a predetermined level and also the front windscreen. So when I remote start it for 15 minutes the car is nicely warmed up.[/i] 110 XS 250 MY 23 Gondwana Stone, Cold climate pack and towbar

No bloody clue what's going on with my car, it's just give to install 2.1.6b despite I'm sure having 2.1.7

Made more annoying that land rover seem to make you wait 2 weeks before you get the next update so it could be years before I see 3 Mike

I'm not desperate for car play but quite a bit changes behind the scenes and it's that I want.

We got it on the d5 well early which makes this just annoying

It fixes done bugs improves connectivity as well as how the interfaces work Mike

To date since installing V3 I’ve had no problems with the app - but I’m also using the original app because the V2 app hasn’t worked at all for me since June 2020………. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Finally got V3.0 a couple of days ago, all seems good. I find choosing a music track is easier on CarPlay than the clunky JLR "browse" function using Bluetooth. V2.8.0 of the Remote App seems OK too.

Crossing my fingers as I type this.

It's not easy. Current vehicle: 2020 Defender 110S
Gone: Defender 90 HT 200Tdi, Discovery Sport, Freelander 2

V3 works fine in the app, not that the defender has it yet 2 weeks away is my bet Mike

I expected it yesterday but despite a few hours driving, albeit some on 3G still no sign of it.

I’ve had my car for a month now and not a single update to the OS. Other apps are updating - so it’s working but just not for the OS ☹️

Hopefully, something will happen early Jan - the dealer said by end of December. I live in a no signal rural place but Wi-Fi should do it!

Happy New Year and new OS 🎉 Defender 22MY P400e XS Edition … not forgetting the mud flaps!

We live remotely but have 4g here, tbh I can’t see it ever getting it over wifi as it’s not connected long enough, but at least I’m not alone!

Strange. I picked up my Defender 110 three days ago, received a notice today when I pulled into the drive that OS3.0 was ready to download and install. Got out, locked and alarmed the car, came back a couple of hours later and ready to go. Very sensitive software or battery level?

It arrived in the end last weekend and downloaded and installed easily. So I'm happy now Laughing

I wish there was more customisation for PHEV on the driver display but maybe that will come in time - the options for single-dial left/right hand are quite limited. Or am I just never happy! Rolling Eyes Defender 22MY P400e XS Edition … not forgetting the mud flaps!

I haven’t really looked into customization. The dual dial and central map is good. But maybe tomorrow. There so much to fiddle with.
