Rear Shock replacement
Hi Guys, New to this forum.
I would like to know if it is advised to remove the bush locators from my rear axle when fitting after market shocks?

It is not necessary. Only reasons to do it are for potentially extra articulation or if the aftermarket bushes are too big for the axle cups.

Your choice. Thumbs Up

The bushes are not to big, just seen others have removed them.

The cups are there to provide a first line of defence against dirt and stones. Folks who are looking for max articulation need to remove the cups as they will pinch on the bushes. Standard length shocks will not get pinched.

I also had to remove mine fitting the Fox 2.5" units as the bushes are too large to fit in the cups. Straight forward to remove them and I've not suffered any issues from doing so. If you can keep them, I would however. 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2
