Fuel pump is one of the hardest to reach once the body is back on, at least on a 90. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

When I did mine I decided to do pretty much everything whilst the body was off and where applicable I put galvanised items on.
From what I remember I did: New bushes all round, new brake lines all round, new fuel pump, new fuel filter header, new tank breathers (old ones were damaged), galv rear rub support, seat belt mounting brackets, galv cranked radius arms, galv a frame arms, even the little things like exhaust bushes, etc. probably did a few other things but can’t remember as it’s been a couple of years now As much as you try to plan everything, when you strip it apart then you will find other things which are damaged, worn our or just in need of replacement. |
