110 SE finally at home
Picked my Defender 110 SE up yesterday. Great dealer and delivery experience, and they threw in some work gloves, an umbrella, a micro fibre towel, a bottle of champagne and rubber floor and boot mats! I’m really pleased with how she looks (I didn’t want it to look like a gangster’s car, but I didn’t want it to look like a commercial vehicle either). Drives really well. All the modern conveniences, including remote control (didn’t even know that was a thing). I’m still working through all the menus. Now to see how well she holds up.

Thanks!

It’s silicon silver. A very rare colour. In the sun it has a warm undertone that makes it look less like a warm silver and more like a very subtle copper tinged stone. I chose it because I didn’t want a common colour. Pictures honestly don’t do it (or any other colour) justice. And my friend has a Disco5 with the same colour scheme and it looks fantastic.

I think it oozes class and avoids crass Smile

Yes. I wanted something a bit less popular. But I flipped between that, white, green and Gondwana so many times…
