Powered Rear Door anybody??

I see the Chinese are in full swing now with add-ons and modifications, just spotted this on Alibaba

A powered tailgate door that can be operated with the original car key, outside handle, front button & rear button & an optional kick sensor. No doubt all the 'modifiers" that are popping up around the New Defender will be offering this option soon at 4x the price

It's a great idea but sadly, will likely on this car gnash up the door and whatever is behind the Defender. (without some sort of proximity sensors in the door to detect objects behind).

(anyone with a Discovery 2 who's inadvertently opened their door into the grille of the car behind in a parallel spot will know !)
