Do you have a bulkhead behind? And loose springs?

Try the seat slightly forward so it's not against the bulkhead, that may be the squeak where it's in contact.
IIRC there are springs in the seat each side at the hinge area, most likely just out of sight. (Another possible cause) Two areas to think of, other than that possibly the actual seat springs that take the persons weight but I think that may be the least likely. |

Having the same problem on my heritage defender with a wobbling seat and a squeezing noise. When I put my hand on the seat the noise stops. What I did and solved the problem for a couple of months was to lubricate the rails where the seat is mounted. Is a bit hard without removing the seat but is doable, just move the seat back and forth so the lubrication can be applied along.
