2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Stornoway Grey

[SOLD] Large Bench Vice

Record 34 Engineers Vice with anvil.
4.5in. 110mm Wide Jaws open 5in. 125mm

It belonged to my late father-in-law and has been stored in my garage for several years. I already have a substantial vice myself so i have decided to sell it on.
It was covered in paint and dust and I have cleaned it up as best I can.
The photos don't do it justice but I can assure you that's purely cosmetic.
I've oiled it up and it operates smoothly.
The jaws are like new and parallel, the quick release is fine.
This a beast weighing 15kgs so it's COLLECTION ONLY. (West Manchester) £120

Good vintage vices are worth a lot, in much the same way that good vintage anvils are worth a small fortune. It has a lot to do with the fact that modern ones are almost without exception crap quality and made from Chinesium.

Would also love this but as my location is not close it’s not worth it.

Interesting if you google the comparison videos that use a very large press and old stuff vs new stuff they have done an anvil it’s an eye opener. Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details
