Might have safety implications for the wider market though...
Bonnet that turns black in sunshine to avoid reflections? Roof that turns white to help reflect heat in summer? Body that turns black in the snow to help being seen? Whole car that changes colour with a flat battery so you can't find the f**king thing in the airport carpark after your holiday...... |

I don’t think it matters what colour that thing is, you won’t lose it in a car park, just look for the lines of people throwing up around it! It must be one of the ugliest cars available to date!!

This idea has been around for ages.
We put a presentation to the Met Police for something similar circa 5 years ago. Covert cars that could change colour to the battenburg colours when they needed to Ride like you stole it!! If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do… 2011 2.4 Puma 90 HT |

I can see crims loving this as well, since they could alter the appearance of a car very easily. I expect it will be outlawed (or taxed) before long....

Very Bond! Very clever stuff and in the Police car scenario, a great use, I'm surprised it disn't take off. Too expensive? James

Shame they can’t link the indicators to the sat nav so that the owner can continue their habit of not bothering to signal a turn ……

The expense to repair was the problem, the target vehicles for this tech, spend more time off the road being repaired than on. Ride like you stole it!! If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do… 2011 2.4 Puma 90 HT |
