Hi Jacob,
obviously hard to diagnose the problem over the internet. But after reading your post, the first thing that came to my mind, is a somehow faulty ABS-sensor. You said, the dealer has checked all the sensors for a correct reading. We'll that is where I would have another look first. Absolutely vital to have an OBD Reader (lynx, nanocom, etc.) at hand to check the individual signals with the wheels actually turning. They obviously don't throw a fault code, so wiring should be okay. However they might simply send a signal to the ABS unit that the wheel is locked and the computer therefore relasing the brake on that wheel. Hope that helps a bit... Regards, Phil |

You wrote the car is pulling to one side shortly with TC activated. Does it also pull to one side when braking normally? Might give us an indication on which brake to have a look at...

Thanks for the replies. I appreciate its hard to work out the issue from a description. I was hoping someone would have had a similar problem with a 'this is how I solved it' kind of post.
The garage had it up on the ramps and span each wheel individually and checked the signals on lynx/nanocom (I was told) so I think that's covered. It sometimes pulls to the left when braking but not consistently so it doesn't seem connected to the wider issue. |

Is it possible to swap the sensors left to right and see if under hard acceleration still pulls to the right, or if it starts pulling to the left? Just a thought. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Check, if the ABS sensors are seated properly. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo
