2005 Defender 110 2.5 TD DCPU Belize Green

Making use of under seat space

So the battery takes up about half the space under the passenger seat.
The ECU, fuses and relays takes about half the space under the drivers seat.

Has anyone ever tried relocation the contents of one box to the other box so that the now empty under seat box can be used as storage?

2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 SW Corris Grey

I bought a MUD Cubby Box Locker (the sliding version) and relocated all the electrical parts, fuses, etc into it. I use the space under the seat for my recovery gear. Access is much easier now for the fuses and relays.
