It’s the body coloured wheelarches and sills that don’t do it, would be OK on a black one……..
It was the same with D3 year ago when LR painted all the black lower trim in body colour it changed the way the car looked Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Yes much preferred the look of the original D3 to the last ones and the D4. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

2022 Defender 110 XS
I picked mine up three weeks ago. 3ltr 250. It looks good. People love it. It certainly gets attention on the road

. A great vehicle. Fantastic to drive. It is not as practical as my D4. Boot space is limited and there is very little storage. The interior olive green is lovely but a pain to keep clean. Due to lack of stock there is no tow bar or towing eyes yet. These shouid be fitted next week.

Defender XS
I have painted all the silver on the car black and then today decorated the whole car. Looks much better, just how a Defender should look. Wow the suspension goes high when off road, it is a long way down when you get out.

Is that in off road setting, or ‘extended’ mode ? Looks quite high!

Defender xs
Mud and ruts program then it seems to extend when going through deep water and ruts and just stays there. The Toyota Hilux I was with was ploughing whilst Defender did not touch the ruts.

Kingfisher,
Did you fit the tow loops yourself or did you get the Dealership to fit before collection?.
As I'm having a real mission to get my dealer to look into retro fitting them!.
Apparently not able to order on an XS edition or able to be fitted due to electrical deployed tow bar being fitted and the best one is I wouldn't trust our bodyshop to fit them!.🤦‍♂️
I'm leaning towards the Powerful UK DIY and YouTube option...🤣

If you’re vaguely competent with a spanner and sockets then fitting the tow loops isn’t a big deal at all. PowerfulUK video is very helpful as you say… Cheers, David

Cheers Cheshire 110,

I'm not to bad with a spanner and a big hammer more miffed with the fact the dealers aren't really willing to do the work and secondly I personally believe that as we are buying a Land Rover Defender these should be a standard build item, and not just a cool feature for the flasher spec models!.
