I have one in my double cab with the tee chest in front of it and another box on top of it so the step is not a problem for me

Nice lights under tent Sonic, were they a maplins purchase. I was thinking about putting some LED stripes on our truck somewhere. First trip out this weekend and without head torches was very dark, two weeks to our first off road trip of the season and can't wait.
Heating in the tent is a good idea very bling but do you really need it, we have not slept in ours yet but it was warm last thing at night when we were messing about with it. |

ay4alex i only bought the rubber matt as the fitting strips cost more than the matt i just guilotined some 2mm alloy sheet to fix it with
Markalpha the lights are from Watts Trucks and are hardwired to the 110 via a waterproof connector with a switch near the tailgate. The heater is a must when the other half feels cold if below 15 degrees and it will also be nice in the winter on cold mornings to activate it remotely before going out. |

You will have to be careful Sonic SWMBO will want a caravan next! We look at off road trailer, amazing things but seem to take a while to set up and the same price as a twin axle caravan. So we got a caravan and a roof tent, all base's covered.

There is one on ebay, Globemaster, was tempted but not sure if it would get used that much, great toy though. Amazing off road, Tony whos place we played at a few years ago had one and it did performed really well in the Welsh hills but It did take longer to put up than ground/roof tents.

Installed the rear drawer at the weekend. Boarded over it and carpeted so don't notice the gap in the wheelarch. Pics in gallery as not worked out how to post them

I'm going to build myself one of these next week I hope. I priced one of these here and they wanted more then 500.-- bucks for it.. too rich for me. I can build it for a 5th of that.. Once I have it built, I'll post some pics..
