Rubber grommet in engine bay behind dash?
I’ve been looking around the engine bay today, but not seen anything…..

I’m looking to install an amp in the passenger seat / battery box. There are some decent rubber grommets coming out to underneath the truck… I was hoping to route rca and speaker cables through this, under the car, into the engine bay then back into the dash behind where the stereo is - just to avoid a mass of cable pushing carpet up.

Anyone offer any pointers where a good re-entry point may be behind the stereo?

There really aren't any on the Puma. The best, vaguely accessible hole is the one that the factory aerial lead runs through fairly close to the steering column (and you can just about access the cab side of this with the dash centre removed). There is a similar hole on the nearside but the heater renders it almost entirely inaccessible on both sides.

I’ll have a look and consider other options. Cheers.
