Lovely vehicle and with a galv chassis should relieve a major worry, but it angers me beyond belief that the owner has been pushed to this reason for sale by others and stopped from enjoying it himself. So frustrating at every level. Wish you and him well with the sale.

I'm looking at purchasing another Defender as a bit of a project car to do up and sell on.
Whats the service/MOT history like? |

The frustrating thing is as soon as he sells it he will regret it, but currently he is not using it for fear of losing it. |

Hope it is okay to resurrect an old thread.
People were right when my mate decided he was previously wanting to sell his Defender, turns out in the end he didn't really. However, he has now unfortunately had a change of circumstances and the Defender now needs to go, so he has asked me to put it back on here to see if there is any interest. The photos etc are from the original post, so mileage will have gone up, but not by a lot. If you are interested please PM me.

Have got a bit more information from my mate:
MOT until 7/8/24, mileage at last MOT was 184,437, and it hasn't done many miles since. Please message me if interested or you have any questions. Like I have said in the original listing, my Mate does not do anything on the internet, and is also hard of hearing so it is difficult for him to talk to people on the phone, hence why he has asked me to help him sell his Landrover. |

There has been no interest in my mates 90, therefore we are going to advertise elsewhere. However, I am surprised that there has been no interest, so was wondering if the price is wrong, what are peoples thoughts please.

Great that it is on a galv chassis but seems strong money for the mileage in my personal opinion. The market is definitely down from where it has been over the last 3 years.
Try sellmydefender.co.uk - I sold one to Mark recently and he was very quick and easy to deal with. Obviously he will want to make some money on it (that's his business) but hassle free. |

Hi, it’s a lovely Landy as a project/base vehicle, all the hard work done but it’s not too pretty so won’t sell as quick/easily..
I think realistically if your mate really wants/ needs to sell it it would go this weekend on Facebook marketplace for £8-8.5k, depends what his situation is. It’s too high miles/ needs quite a bit of work to flip on quickly, need someone to see it and feel the love, the price is too high I feel for people to view… Just my opinion, but I know everything…🤦🏻♂️😂 Cheers Alex 98 300 tdi 90 project 94 Range Rover vogue 4.2 lse 79 911 sc 08 130 double cab utility |
