Is it a full internal roll cage on there?

I expected them to be quite uncomfortable but not so far-the heated element on them is pretty full on though compared to the old half leather XS seats. Not one for long journeys but that’s not going to be happening much I don’t think. |

No it’s a half external roll cage that surrounds the windscreen and the front doors but that’s it. The new roofrack (Safety Devices) is pretty solid so that may also offer some protection. My days of going under low ceilings is over now-it’s got to be 2.5m tall at least now. |

In case anyone was curious about the build specs here it is-I didn’t go with the front cameras and engine starter button but on top I had billet door hinges, mirror arms and windscreen and bonnet hinges. Plus rear two LED spots, number plate LED and battery jump start points and winch cut off switch.

I have the same Corbeau seats. There are two heat levels, but you can't control that from the standard Defender heated seat switch. Rummage around under the seat and follow the cable. There should be a small rocker switch that has 0/1/2 on it. That's unless they've change the wiring too. My wife has her's on 2, I have mine on 1. |

Ah that’s great info thanks! Yes the highest setting is pretty full on so being able to turn it down is awesome much appreciated.

Must say that I don’t enjoy heated seats one bit. Very uncomfortable sensation. Mrs Grenadier on the other hand loves them…. Monsieur Le Grenadier
