[For Sale] 2013 LAND ROVER DEFENDER 110 JE ZULU V8 AUTO Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Hi there, I am reluctantly now selling my JE Defender due to arrival of a New Defender-Sorry, below are details of the vehicle and I can PM more images and a list of mods to any serious enquiry - I am based in North Yorkshire Thanks, Michael This Land Rover Defender 110 XS Station Wagon 7 seater is a very rare example of the iconic 4x4, which has been given extensive mechanical, exterior, and interior upgrades by leading Defender specialist, JE Motorworks of Coventry. It is powered by the JLR 4.2-litre Supercharged V8, which has been upgraded to 490bhp. Its four-wheel drive system is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and manual transfer gearbox. The odometer shows 73233 trouble free miles from new. First registered in February 2013, this car’s log book shows no previous owners as I purchased this vehicle new and drove it to JE Motorworks and the conversion was carried out with less than 200 miles on the clock, The mechanical enhancement of this Defender 110 includes not only the engine/transmission upgrade, but also the fitment of JE upgraded suspension upgrade, all Polybushed, pegged differential internals, heavy-duty axels/propshaft, AP front brakes and electronic handbrake, quick ratio steering box, JE 'D' Type wheels, 120 litre fuel tank to give the Defender a more comfortable ride and enjoyable drive without sacrificing its off-road agility. . Today, the bodywork remains in excellent condition, it's Orkney grey paintwork and Indus Silver contrasting roof are is still in very good order, with a smooth and even finish, and showing only a few minor imperfections commensurate with the Defender’s age and mileage. To complement its factory paintwork, the grill and headlamp surrounds are colour coded, there is a Brunel painted Bowler steering guard and the car is equipped with a rear recover eye powder coated black Other exterior upgrades include a galvanised front bumper with in-built LED daytime running lights, plus Nolden LED headlights, genuine LR side steps and privacy glass was installed B post to the rear, Optimil door handles, bonnet hinges and widow blocks, factory fitted sunroof. Finally, the chassis received a full spray protection treatment from Before 'n' After with a10 year warranty and the car has been ceramic coated Stepping inside, the restrained standard interior has been given a full make custom makeover. There is a B-C-D post internal padded Safety Devices roll cage, LR premium front seats, custom carpeting fitted on the front row and Linex spray liner from the B post to the rear, the headlining and sun visors are genuine LR black Alcantara. A comprehensive re-trim of the rest of the cabin was also undertaken, using black Nappa leather and grey stitching to cover all the door cards, the window surrounds, dashboard tops and the custom cubby box. All the upholstery presents in very good condition The gear selector knob is from a Discovery 3, and a Momo carbon fibre Prototipo steering wheel is fitted with a slimline boss. The sound system, installed is double-DIN Alpine touch-screen media system utilising the LR Alpine Subwoofer. What is not so obvious until the car is started up and driven, is that it has also received an interior soundproofing package to the roof and under bonnet There are no known electrical faults, and no warning lights on the dashboard, with full build and service history invoices available Its last scheduled maintenance was in April 2021 at 71500 miles, when JE Engineering in Coventry carried out a full service. The most recent MOT test was on 20 January 2021 at 70289 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects noted. Its wheels are still fitted with the original Hankook Ventus ST tyres, which remain in good order, never had a puncture with approx 7mm of tread and the spare unused This Land Rover Defender 110 by JE Motorworks is a superb custom 4x4, which is not to be confused with Defenders that have simply had a few cosmetic modifications. Most notably, the car’s performance with 490bhp and 0-60 around 6 seconds, while losing none of the classic character that appeals to so many enthusiasts. Offered directly from its first private owner, this is a high-specification ‘go-anywhere’ vehicle that would make a terrific daily driver or road trip vehicle. It might be worth giving Simon at Motodrome a call and see if they're interested in yours, they shift a lot of defenders and would be my #1 port of call if I was looking to spend a chunk of change on a nicer defender, whilst avoiding the chelsea truck blinged up stuff. It might be that they can confidently shift yours at 90k with a little patience and would bite your hand off at 75k, perhaps not. I guess it's a difficult part of the market once you're at >£40k for a private purchase of something that's not typically exotic.
