Exmoor Trim Carpet and SeatBoxes...
So I finished off fitting the exmoor premium trim carpet yesterday to my 90, and wow it does look lovely and lifts the interior of the vehicle, certainly worth £230 for a very good looking interior upgrade.

I did find the seat box parts are not the best fit and require some adjustment - this brings me onto the access trays on the seatboxes, on the official exmoor trim fitting video he clips the trays over the carpet on the seatboxes, there's no way there is enough give/fitment in the carpet to do this so mine are underneath and a bit of a pig to get to if needed. Has anyone fitted the trays like this or kept them under the carpet.
This is the official fitting video;

Now the only thing letting the vehicle down is the rear bulkhead - have people carpeted this or resprayed it? I know you can take it out and fit a bar - but I want to keep the rear separate to the front driver area.

When I tidied up an old 90 a few years ago I carpeted the bulkhead on the rear face as part of doing the whole of the load area. If I'd kept it longer then I would have done the front, too as it makes a real difference to the feel of the interior.

Was that just with the some general charcoal carpet?

My under-seat access panels fitted over the carpet exactly as per the Exmoor video. (Nothing to say about the bulkhead as mine doesn't have one.) Cheers, Guy.

How did you slide them back in? There seems to be no space or give in my carpet? Everything lines okay with the seat bolt holes.
They fit perfectly underneath the seat box flap but not over the edge of the seat box where the holder clips in place.

I'll try and remember to take a photo or two tomorrow. (When it is daylight and the Hallowe'en mob disperses.) Cheers, Guy.

That was 'Veltrim' carpet, which is a strange stretchy material specifically for lining vehicles. Darren

Here you go...
The front edge of the lid goes over the carpet and is held down by the clip while the sides and back go under it and the rear is retained in the channel- as it was originally. This means the carpet can't be glued to the seat box where the lids slide under it but the front can. Cheers, Guy.

I used 4 way stretch carpet stuff on that bulkhead area - suspect veltrim mentioned by LRA is the same stuff. Pretty cheap on eBay with spray adhesive and looks good.

Looks like I made a boo boo! Will have to try and angle out the lids as Ive done my under the carpet!
And after been away for a few weeks, the cold weather has killed the battery so will need to get to the battery to charge it tonight. The channels for my lids do seem really stiff, can you make them slightly wider by prying them open more?
