2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey
Hi Matt,

Received my new defender 5 miles on the clock at 11.30am back to the Dealers 12 miles on the clock with a clattering handbrake. They have adjusted but started again on the way home. I now feel like a true defender owner and will get to know my dealer very well. Big Cry Big Cry

Hi Johnnyboy Very Happy
Sorry, but I have to Rolling with laughter - only two words of advice:
1) the handbrake clatter hasn't done mine any harm after 8000 km (I have bought an X-Brake and will fit it towards the end of the warranty).
2) Complaining too loudly about "handbrake incompetence" to the dealer did my gearbox harm (or rather the mechanic did)
You have been warned Evil or Very Mad
Keep me posted with future developments Thumbs Up
Cheers,
Matt
p.s. I find that giving the handbrake a quick yank can get rid of my embarrassment for a while Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...
