Fully Electric Off-Roading
For anyone interested; here is a quick video of my lap of the Great British Land Rover Show off-road course at the weekend - great fun!

Electric certainly is the future; didn’t even have to start the engine once, while a number of Disco 1/2s on dumper truck tyres had to be towed out!

 Cheers, David

A bit off topic but in 2019 I was invited to an experience day for the Jaguar iPace - OK it’s was fully optioned with their all surface control system and adjustable air suspension but the progressive way that an EV can put its power down was really impressive………… pity that then that car was listed at around £87000 with options fitted. We even got to wade it in around 30cm deep water without any problem, then off down the motorway to test the same car on a circuit! Must admit though that electrical consumption off road wasn’t impressive but even on road the iPace isn’t the most efficient EV available. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Nice, it’s a shame there’s no 90 PHEV. I’m sure they could’ve put some batteries under the back seats, it’s not like they fold flat anyway. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue
