[SOLD] Defender 110 XS 2014 2.2 USW Santorini Black

Hi, I have decided to sell my Santorini 110 XS, In the past I have owned Discovery 1,2,3 plus Range Rover P38,and Fullfat, but I just can't feel the love for a Defender,
It has covered 80200 miles, has full LDMDSH up to 65000 then a local garage and I have just changed Oil and Filter, Air Filter with Genuine Parts and Greased Prop Shafts.
It is an Honest 110 that has been Unmolested,
The Chassis is sound having been treated with Dinitrol by Trek Overland in 2019.
Bulkhead is sound and has stainless steel bolts all round, The finish of the paintwork really sparkles in the sunshine being Santorini.
After market Pure Bluetooth Radio fitted
Although in lovely condition, there are honestly a couple of bits that need addressing:
Rear Crossmember is sound but has light surface rust
Some Paint has started Bubbling mainly around the Alpine windows
Will require New Tyres Soon
Side Steps have a little Rust
Surface Rust on Back Edge of Bumper
I have been honest with the description and hope it can find a new home with a forum member.
There is a Tracker fitted and an Ardcase Pedal Lock.

So New Price of £27000
Does this reflect value ?

Sales go a little soft this time of year. I think your price is a tad low, but if you are happy with it then thats what matters. It would of been better if yours was VAT claimable which would make it more attractive to smaller companies. 110 D250 SE HT

^^^^^. If you buying into the trade then £27K is fine. But to a member of the general public it's very low 110 D250 SE HT

Difficult time of year for making sales, especially private sales. Based on the photos and description I would've snapped this up if I hadn't recently bought mine. If you're in a hurry for a sale and you're happy at £27k it shouldn't struggle to sell, however I'd expect that to bring £32k+ without difficulty if you've got a little patience.

Just my two cents - As I sit here wishing I hadn't bought mine yet as yours is far more desirable to me.

one of the issues with a lot of these defenders is they fall foul of the new stealth tax on car drivers in Manchester and and many other lez zones. Which makes them less attractive once you start to pay a daily charge to go to work etc.

The local council's seem to see them as an easy cash cow and have extended the mcr one way beyond the m60 into Lancashire with little car for who or what it affects. i wont start a big debate here on the pros and cons but its killed (older non compliant) van sales around the north west and its the final straw for lots of folk who work in the zone.
