Part of me cant wait for fully auto driving. The last d5 had far more self drive options starting than this one.
Steering assist to steer it and all the usual adaptive/queue stuff. I like driving, but the day i can let the car take the motorway strain the better!! Mike |

Latest update
Seems even though the 23MY was released a few weeks ago they are trying to decide whether my April 13th order should say 22MY or go to 23MY with a £1700 increase (no spec changes between years just a price increase). Looks like the decision will be made by LR. |

With my order, they moved my order to a 23MY, but agreed to keep the base price at the same as the 22MY that I had ordered (but not any extras on top, although there aren't any great changes). I could live with that.
According to my dealer, that 'concession' (resulting in £1435 off the price) comes direct from LR. So I assume that is the position they are adopting with all current 22MY Defender orders that have to be re-specced as 23. |

I already had £4650 off so I think they may be squeaking a little on offering another £1700

I'm curious to know now that the MY23 specs have been released, does anyone really think they will receive their 23MY Defender before late June 2022. I can't see why the commencement of the next model year production would be pulled forward from its usual time frame.
What I can believe is that LR have released the 23MY specs 4 months earlier than usual because of the ongoing supply issues, resulting in the continued extended lead times with all new factory orders now not arriving until the summer at best Andy. 22MY Defender 110 X Dynamic HSE D250, Gondwana Stone with too many options! 2022 Range Rover Sport D300 Dynamic Autobiography, Firenze Red with Black Pack. I agree Andy.
My revised order shows a delivery date of 30/4/22 but that's just a notional date inserted for admin purposes as far as I can see. All LR said is that my order has been identified as one that 'will not be built within the current build period' but no clue what that period is... |

Less offensive than the usual gangster/ghetto bus makeovers.

The disadvantage of these rims are not enough airflow for the brakes and you have to lift the car to clean the inside of the rims.
These colours give the Defender a plastic look. Especially the cream colour roof, rims and front-lights. 22MY Defender 110 (actual) | 10MY Freelander 2 (history) | 15MY Discovery Sport HSE (history) |
