Thank you! My dealer has offered to hold it until the 3rd Jan if I want it to be registered in 2022. I can see the logic in this, and wonder will it have any real impact on resale.

It’s been a long wait, but my 110 is finally aboard a ship on its way to Australia. Will it arrive by Christmas? Smile Ordered May, built October, shipped 5th Nov.

congratulations 5 month from order to build is quite good these days. Wishing you that it'll arrive pre-christmas. I'm not that fortunate as I ordered 2 month after you but maybe I will get a build slot in December/January.
What engine, extras did you order? 110 D250 SE Tasman Blue, white roof, black pack, advanced towing pack, rear diff locker, driver assist

Yes, not too long a wait.

It’s a 110SE, D300 engine, silicon silver, black roof, e-diff, towing pack (which here in Australia includes the terrain response 2 software), drivers digital display, 11.4” screen, acorn leather 12 way heated and cooled seats (I wanted fabric, but that option extended the wait time three months, so had to get heating and cooling, which was the only option I took out of necessity), matrix LED headlights, 20” wheels (when we start our lap of Australia I’ll fit the Tuff-Ant 18” wheels), clear sight, air suspension, insulated windscreen (gets very hot and quite cold where I live), and a few other bits and bobs…

I’ll fit rear tow hooks and the front undershield myself after she arrives.

Assuming all this made it into the build Smile

No sunroof (don’t like them; my wife’s car has one and on the odd occasion we’ve used it it just annoys us). No roof rack at this stage, but eventually I’ll need it when she gets taken on extended overland trips. Opted for oyster headlining: no cost, and I prefer the airy feel it creates in the car. Also no HUD. Another piece of technology that I don’t like to drive with.

Here she is:

Looks a bit like my configuration only I have different colours and no 11.4" screen and the matrix LEDs have been downgraded by Land Rover 6 weeks ago. They said no matrix LED anymore for my car....

Very traditional Smile. I like it. Matrix headlights are a nice to have but not a necessity in my opinion. My wife’s little Mazda CX3 has them and my Alpine A110 doesn’t. And I definitely prefer my Alpine Smile I didn’t get a choice on the 11.4”. Apparently that was the only option here in Australia.

Nice. I always fancied a classic Porsche, and the rear wheel drive Carrera is actually the 911 to have IMHO. The price of them now is insane here in Australia. Probably cheaper in Germany I’m guessing…
