Great British Land Rover Show (Stoneleigh, 21st Nov. 2021)
Is anybody contemplating the Great British Land Rover show at Stoneleigh this year, 21st November 2021?

https://greatbritishlrshow.com/

Advance tickets are £7.50.

I'm currently on the fence, its a good 2.5 hours each way to then stand in a hall with possibly not many mask wearers, but it would be nice to have a look around a few goodie stands. 2005 Td5 90 XS

The website lists defender2.net club as being in attendance?

I have my ticket, looking forward to buying some stuff I don't need...

It's a bit of a trip but good to give landy a decent run now & again.

I was.contemplating it, but then realised it's on my Wife's birthday. I'm not sure she'd see at as a fitting day out. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I have the same issue with Le Mans, it always clashes with my wife’s birthday, she comes to a lot of things she has no real interest in, spending 10 hours sat in the rain at Spa to see no F1 this year for one, but I’d feel bad doing my stuff on her birthday. We will work something out one year, maybe a promise of a chateau or 2 will swing things in my favour.

Got my tickets, it’s only two miles from me so I will have to set out early to warm motor up and stop for breakfast somewhere first. thumbsup: Ride like you stole it!!
If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do…

Fortunately my Wife enjoys Le Mans, so I have no problem getting a pass for that one. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Have been a couple of times, have had free tickets on both occasions and definitely wouldn’t be paying to go, pretty poor show in my opinion, very few exhibitors and not worth the entry fee in my opinion 👎

I think I have reached the conclusion that I'll be giving it a miss.

The COP26 event as well as the thread about our environmental impact has given me pause for thought - do I really want to burn ~40 litres of diesel to attend a show that I am not desperate to attend, whereas I could spend that weekend working on my own project car instead, seems like a win-win all round Smile 2005 Td5 90 XS
