After a link to an OBD2 Bluetooth plip for a puma.
I actually have one. Ordered from eBay ages ago. It's never worked. Connects to the phone app but won't read anything.

Does anyone have a link to one they've bought themselves and KNOW works because it's up and running on their vehicle?

I can Google again as before but I don't want another one that won't work.

Thanks. Thumbs Up

We have 2 of these and they work well with a Android tablet running torque
Hope that helps

If you are trying to connect to a Td5, they will not work as the Td5 is using a Landrover unique protocol.. not obd2 compatible.

They work on Puma though.

Edit.. as I hit submit.. I see the title for a Puma.. dohh. I just got this one in link below... I choose one that works on wifi though and works good. I just downloaded an app called Car Scanner. I have not used it much, but seems to be good.

I'd use this as an excuse for a BAS remote remap.
The obd tool you get is just brilliant. Thumbs Up

It is most definitely on the list... I just need another zero and a multiplier of 6 and I'm there Thumbs Up Rolling with laughter

Definitely would like to go for a BAS 150 though. Not quite sure about the 170 yet.

Check out Car Scanner. This morning I was playing about with setting up a dashboard. Screenshot from my dpf load 😱 (if anyone can comment if 41% is good enough?). You can set any type of gauge, digital or analogue and you can put as many gauges as you want...

Still need to decide what I want to display. Not that I want to hijack Matts’ thread, but ideas are welcome. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Another alternative is the OBDLink LX or MX+ , I have had the LX for several years and works well on the defender 2.2 and on many other vehicles I’ve used it on. However now the MX+ is available I would go for that if I were to purchase now as it has even better support for specific GM and ford codes plus iPad and iPhone support. They come with their own ( very good) phone app and laptop software but you can also run a range of apps like torque etc .
These also auto switch off so no bat drain, have secure Bluetooth, are good quality, fast in comms to display device but cost a fair bit. Having said that, permanently connecting a cheap ELM327 into expensive ECUs may not be a good idea long term, so it may be £’s well spent.
