Looks fantastic.
I can’t decide between the front runner and OEM rack. The front runner appeals for accessories, but the OEM rack is rated for the car. I’d only ever put spares, water and fuel and maxtrax on the roof because it’s just my wife and I overlanding. Is your the full front runner or the shorter one that fits the OEM rails? I also have to decide on whether to get the 18” TuffAnt alloys and the new calliper S, but I’ll see how the 20” wheels go. |

Thanks guys!
It’s the shorter rack that fits into the Factory roof rails. Very simple to fit! I’ve been really impressed with it actually. Very well made and low faff with regards to attachments etc, just pricy and I guess sucks you into buying the extortionately priced FR bits if that’s your thing. |

Nice. How do you plan to get to Iceland? Ferry from Denmark? |

Thanks guys! The tyres are the original 255 size, but weirdly they look noticeably narrower than the Goodyear AT’s that came off. I wonder whether the Tuffant steelies are slightly wider, so the tyres are bulged less. Mega impressed though. They’re super heavy and I think a slightly wider offset so the handling is slightly effected (the car drives noticeably heavier than with the 18” alloys and Goodyear’s) but they withstood a lot of abuse on the narrow stoney lanes of Cumbria.
Iceland wise, looking to get the ferry from Denmark, potentially summer 2023. Plenty of time for research and fettling with the vehicle! |

Careful how you go in Denmark now:
"A Norway man’s trip to buy a Lamborghini Huracan in Germany went awry when police clocked him driving 147 mph through Denmark and seized the $310,000 supercar. “It was a little sad for him,” Jess Falberg, the on-duty officer, told the Nordjyske newspaper in northern Denmark. “Now the car has been confiscated, and he was a little tired of that.” Under a law enacted this year, Denmark police can take a “reckless” driver’s vehicle and sell it at auction. The law considers exceeding 124 mph and drunken driving to be reckless offenses. The man was stopped just before reaching the ferry to Norway, on a stretch of highway with an 81 mph speed limit." https://presslasvegas.com/auto/all-fun-til...ambo-away/ |
