Trasheroo Budget Spare Wheel Bag
I've been looking for a spare wheel bag for ages but the prices for ones sold here by Exmoor and Tuff Trek make my eyes water a bit.

I discovered one on Amazon US called Trasheroo, £46 delivered from California to Rossendale including customs and taxes. Took about a week and half to come. Amazon take care of the taxes if any are due. Be interesting to see if it survives Morocco and back but in first inspection it looks well made.

That looks neat. I can think of several uses for one of those but do you have something in particular in mind for it? Darren

I'm going to put a bin bag in it when we go to Morocco just so all the rubbish can be kept out of the car. Would be good for anything dirty really. Might be good for recovery gear if you know you are likely to need it. Muddy boots, dog towels etc etc. it's not at all secure so wont be putting anyhting of value in it or leaving it on when just running around at home. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Have you got a link please?
I've seen them on amazon too but with shipping and taxes it ends up being a lot more than £46

I bought mine from CamperVan culture about 3 years ago, bit more expensive but shipped from the uk. Still going strong 3 years later.

Not only is it good for rubbish etc, but muddy boots and the like. I also like to keep my cooker fuel out of the cab when ever possible and this works well for that purpose.

Bought mine from Campervan Culture too! Superb quality, very strong. Does fade a little in the sun but fantastic otherwise.

Good price on the trasharoo Thumbs Up

Campcover, rab and a few others make similar ones.

A 100 litre army Bergen for £10 on eBay or surplus does the trick too 👍

Got myself one after reading this post, 62 euros including post from the US to Spain, very nice product, happy because I was looking at these kind of backs for a while but prices far over 100 euro is way too much imho

Just a quick update. Done over 5000 miles to Erg Chebbi and back. Trasheroo was used with two bin liners in it, one for camp rubbish and one for dirty washing. Stayed put even after days of horrendous corrugations with a few kg of stuff in it. It was beige with dust by the end, but I just jet washed it with water and it’s good as new. Recommended!

These actually work well if you put a 50L kitchen plastic bin in them with out the lid...any with corners will chaff through over time though.

I've got one, another vote for it. Love mine. Works so well as a big bin holder, but most amazing is you genuinely pressure wash it back to like new again. Brilliant

Only issue I've got is the metal chrome plated bits at the bottom intended as drain holes corrode, but hardly visible or a worry.

Worth noting that you can still get them from Amazon US for substantially less than UK sellers charge for them, including shipping and VAT to the UK. Unfortunately not as cheap as when I started this thread though. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
