Alive remap
Got myself a Alive remap 2 weeks ago. Tried it yesterday as it had only been driven around the streets by her indoors for a couple of weeks. I had requested a low ecconomic tune , Egr, speed limiter removed/reset with low Egt. Well let me say that it should have come from the factory like this, totally no flat spots. It is a different vehicle, there is an improvement in economy, about 2 litres/ 100km. This will be monitored over a greater distance as I only travelled 450 km. When out of warranty I know now it will receive a large intercooler and decat. To say I am a happy customer is an understatement. Thanks Gary, see you in the new year for some more goodies ! Very Happy

Australia 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Stornoway Grey
Good to hear Panna,

Just to clarify what you got on your remap was, EGR shut off, better fuel economy, low exhaust gas temp and removal of the speed limiter... Thats sounds good, might have to go down this path myself!

How much quicker is the puma to drive now?

Do you know what the new KW figures are meant to be?

Regards

I cannot give you the KW figures however I'm well pleased. I saw 160 km/h however I doubt that I was really doing that. Main thing is it is so more drivable with less gear changing, with that g/box that is not such a bad thing.
