The other car is an EV, similar storey but a little more frustrating as so many basics are options with the manufacturer even folding wing mirrors! The disco might be delivered March but I'll be happy if I get both for September plates next year, any earlier will be a bonus.


Car was ready to go in September subject to a dash (i.e no other items was causing a build issue). So builds ordered up to 5months after mine, with the digital dashes, now have build slots? Doesnt stack up.

Some people ordered it un june an have their cars.

Yep the P400E is a little difficult to get hold of. Hence I didnt bother ordering one to replace the hybrid I already had.

Dealer mentioned that he still had an P400E unslotted, which I pointed out was expected.

Just had an email from the dealer.

My 110 D300 HSE was built on the 17th September and should be at the dealer on the 26th October.

Official order date was the 29th June. Carpathian Grey 110 D300 HSE

Not sure as other, later orders, are coming through with tow bars. Activity key maybe? But I'm sure the dealer would have noted a issue with this.

I think April is a bad month. And rather then pushing all months back by working through in a sequential order they are slotting the backlog "in" where possible. June, July seemed to be better months. Now May orders are coming through. Maybe April next as they work through the backlog?

Either way its a race before the MY23 build release. Might drive an X5 45E in the meantime (But I rather take a P400E even with the four pot engine). Sadly can't pursuade SWMBO to consider an Tesla X. Overriding feeling is to sit tight until next year if the Defender order falls through.

Still no update Order July 7th
As I promised my dealer I'll not call him in October and be patient to wait for November and hope to have an update, I was wondering if anyone here had a July Order that has gotten a recent build date.

I ordered mine at the very end of June and it arrives at the dealer next Tuesday. Carpathian Grey 110 D300 HSE

Wow I'll say congratulations for a very quick build and a great car. I guess my order around 10-12 days later then yours doesn't mean I'll get mine mid of November.
But I'll just wait another 10 days and just ring the dealer and ask for an update....
