Defender 90 (1994) Fog Light switch / Wiring
Evening folk

Just got my self a Defender 90 (1994) and collecting it on Tuesday.

I noted on the test drive that there were no fog lights fitted but there is a switch stork on the RHS of the steering column.

Can any one comment as to whether there is a wire / loom going to the front of the engine area or will I have to re-wire from the switch.

All comments greatly appreciated.

Thanks

John

It’s on a relay which inhibits it’s use unless the headlights are on. Yours will be pre 94 model year if switch is on the column.

Thanks all for your replies ... If I'd have read the "Handbook" I'd have know it was for the "Rear" fog light, nothing to do with the front! Doh!

Just as a point about the switch on the steering column, the vehicle was first registered 01/08/1994

Will try not to ask too many stupid questions without more prior checking.

20 years since my last 90 so a bit rusty on its build.

Cheers

John

^^^ exactly. There are no smart questions either. You ask a question for an answer that you do not know yet. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
