You can't have the dog I'm afraid. He's the only one that will sleep in the roof tent with me Confused

I will start by saying I dont know very much about Land Rovers, but that looks very tidy indeed, and a lovely way to enjoy the countryside Thumbs Up

Oy! Camel. You don't have time for larking about on lanes. You've got a red arrow to build. Thumbs Up

Whooah! Bit of a shock last time I went to fill the lightweight up.
As you fill the tank directly rather than thru a filler, you get to see what's going on inside the tank.

The fuel hadn't been in there that long.....

Tank now needs to come off to get it sorted.

Luckily, the other tank was empty so didn't have the issue,.

On a normal series you don't get to see in the tank but might be worth a quick check occasionally....

Camel.
Wow that’s shocking and a big surprise. Both my tanks are see into and also sit for long periods with fuel in. Iv never seen this mess, I’m always clean and clear and have no idea where that has come from. Weird. In fact it’s a dry day here so I’ll take him out for a drive.

That's modern E5 fuel for you. It will get worse, much much worse, with E10! Sad

It will probably be necessary to drain the tank of vehicles which only get intermittent use now.

Wolfy 🐺
When you say e10, do you mean that it causes a reaction to make the fuel turn out like camels?
Surely not?

My little run up the north Berwick coastline. Lunch at Archerfield golf club.

As E10 has a higher Ethanol content than E5, it will absorb more water from the atmosphere and therefore be more likely to result in crud in the tank (like mine although that was on E5 fuel...)
