22MY 90 Hard Top here at last
So, I've waited since placing my order mid February and I collected it this morning, but to be fair it has been at the dealers since July whilst waiting my rental vehicle lease to end.
I've had some added paintwork done namely Silicon silver bumpers front and back, grille bar and lettering, gloss black wheels, sills, vents, wheel arch trims and bumper corners. I'm chuffed with the final look, I wanted to stay away from the everything blacked out stealth look and have some contrast which for me has worked.

Ordered with the 11" screen and digital dash along with plenty of other extra's so a really good spec for a runabout van.
Can't fault Hendy Salisbury, they've been great to deal with and would recommend to others. I do have a couple of paint issues that will need addressing where the lacquer has reacted with the base coat but only a minor issue and will be fixed in the near future.

Congrats....
Congratulations!

Looking good. Carpathian was second choice. They painted your wheels as well?

Mine and yours arrived on the same transporter. Wasn't going to wait for it to be a 71 plate. đź‘Ť

Both have some rare options 🤣

Funny, mine also going back for some paint rectification...

So I've just returned from a 6 day return trip to Sardinia via Eurotunnel to Livorno in Italy and ferrry to Olbia to collect our boat and return it to the UK for sale.
Boat is a 7.5m rib on a 4 wheel trailer with an overall length of near on 10 metres and in total weighs around 3.2-3.5 tons so up there near the towing limit. I've done the trip a couple of times in FF Range Rovers towing the same boat, the 4.4V8 diesel being the best tow car bar none for long distant high speed continent cruising with masses of effortless torque and a relaxed unstressed atmosphere. The 3.0 V6 is also 85% as good but you can't beat a big V8 for grunt.
This time my lowly Hard Top with just 200hp and a LOT less torque was chosen and I returned this afternoon after 4 days driving 2240 miles and I have to admit I am really impressed with the way it performed towing such a big load. Averaged 24.8mpg and that was based on an 80 - 90mph cruise going down and a steady 60-65mph return with the boat hooked up.
I was expecting the shortwheelbase to corrupt the ride but apart from a couple of very nasty road sections around Genoa the ride was impressive, although the trailer did seem to be in charge of the car on a few occasions Big Cry , a bit more weight in the Defender would have helped.
What impressed me most was the low down grunt and cruising along at 1400rpm at about 63mph was quiet and felt 'just right'.
All in all a very acceptable tow car with good all round performance, OK economy (Range Rovers gave around 26-27mpg and higher average speeds) and very comfortable for 600 mile stints at a time.

90 Hard Top's only come with coils but they've been fine. Air would be better but coils are OK.

I asked because I recently helped a friend recover his large motor boat from the summer mooring to winter storage and he commented that my 110 First Edition was sitting very flat with the loaded 6 wheel trailer attached, much flatter than AndyS’s 90 in the photo. Fortunately the load only needed to be hauled 2 miles along a rough track to his farm and the EAS handled it with ease. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
