YR06 my working defender then i worked for PE up and down M5, m4, and so on

We may have met then, I used to do quite a few jobs with PE and I've certainly spoke to the landy drivers on occasion. I remember one guy telling me his was only two wheel drive which I soon put him right on haha! 2011 110 USW

WPD still have I'd guess a couple of hundred at least, and I suspect will do for a while yet. 2011 110 USW

Spotted this lovely farmer spec 90 300Tdi today, barely a straight panel left on it. Had very faded side tapes too.

I see quite a few like that regularly, include a genuine beige one. Amazing how many 30ish year old Defenders are still knocking about. I forget the brand was renamed when I was nine! 2011 110 USW

If that is ex-WPD it's been extensively rebuilt, the only clue would be the holes in the body for tread plate and lamp guards, but I can't see any other markers. 2011 110 USW
