cos the gearbox isn't strong enough for the engine. They are literally getting ripped apart

......mhmmmm it's seems an early MY2007 revision ...... for the 1st massive gearbox revision and only same synchronizers for MY2009 For example, mine (bought in december 2008) is a MY2008 with VIN 8A759xyz |

Had gearbox changed a couple of weeks ago to fix defective 1st to 2nd synchro. Doesn't seem to have made much difference though. Back to the dealers I guess, but not very hopeful!!!

Problems can carry on as some dealers don't check that they are fitting the later box,as with the earlier engines with the sticking piston jets etc. 2.4 90 XS
