I also have a V8 90 which was supposed to be ready end of August, now I can't even get an idea of when it will be ready.
Having had one for a day, I cant wait to get my hands on my own. |

In the same boat. Ordered a CE 90 in March with an August build and it’s now unslotted with no indication of a delivery date. I’ve contemplated just ordering a 2023 RR instead and just getting the SVR when that comes out. Overall pretty disappointed in Land Rover and their .

Starting to get the sense we’re purposefully being put in the dark to avoid cancellations.

Hardly land rovers fault, this is a significant worldwide problem, something has to give quickly
Not sure why the chip people aren’t getting close to ready to meet demand, fire ok, rebuild in 12 months, other companies increase capacity (opportunities) and the other shortages slowly things should improve. Needs to improve Mike |

From what I've read. The implications being that the manufacturers now suffering the most may have been the more aggressive during COVID with supply chains.
The chip manufacturers starting supplying new COVID markets after car manufacturer's reduced requirements . Then the car manufacturers came back and said hang on a minute can we need more chips.....sorry no more capacity we have new commitments to fulfill |

It's not the fact that there is a problem but rather JLR communications with people with an order in the system that's at issue. JLR knew the scale of the issue at the end of Q2 and made public announcements regarding the impact on wholesales. Perhaps from there, they should have spent some time communicating immediately with order holders on what that meant for their individual order. |

Completely agree,
The last communication I had from the dealer about my order was the 15th June, telling me that my date had been pushed back from August to sometime in September, now running out of time for September, ..... Giving them to 1st October before I 'chase'.[/quote] |
