90 owners - 2021MY cars only - water ingress
Just learned that 90’s built for 2021MY irrespective of spec/engine MIGHT be missing a weld run in the panels on the front passenger side (RHD cars) wing that is about 25mm long. This will cause water ingress to the passenger footwell on RHD cars / driver footwell on LHD. Check you left side footwell for dampness - remember you have a box full of ECU’s and fuses under the plastic flooring here! It doesn’t affect 110’s or 22MY 90’s - basically only the small run of 21MY 90’s.
This news came to me as a result of a reply to my little video of the rear screen washer dumping the fluid into my driver’s foot well this morning. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

My Lada Niva did that in the 80's Tim!!!! The pipe for the rear screen wash ran under the passenger side floor and some numpty at the factory had put a carpet retaining clip through the pipe. It only leaked when under pressure from the washer pump.

Can’t say I’ve noticed any water in mine and we’ve had a fair bit of rain of late. My one must be one of the first batch, a nice VIN as well 0001 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

No VINs but it might not have got to a bulletin yet- it came from an owner who’s 90 First Edition is being rebuilt after he had a waterfall of water flowing out of the passenger door after heavy rain- the info about the missing weld came via his dealership. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

Can’t say I’ve noticed any water in mine and my 90 was delivered early April. I’m over 12,000 miles in as well so it’s had a fair amount of use. Will keep my eye out though!!
