Only a rendering, but gives a good impression of the finished article.

Think EV…….won’t need an exhaust in the future…….

Ok that does not help the comment so far, but the spare wheel might be a red herring. Whistle

With all the rear seats folded it will make a great camper……….. even the tallest will fit in loadspace in a sleeping bag. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

An EV may not need an exhaust but it does need quite a bit of space for batteries. As far as I can tell, there is no EV currently on sale that can have a full size spare wheel - even the jag ipace (which is the only EV I know of where you can specify any spare wheel) can only have a space saver and that has to sit on the boot floor (despite what someone from Jaguar told me about it going under the floor before I ordered one grrr). I would say the defender is strong favourite to be the only EV with a full size spare wheel as long as it can hang on the rear door

Ghastly. The proportions are all wrong. Why anyone would consider the 130 is beyond me… then and again it’s all in the eye of the beholder.

Jeep getting in on the act...

Jeep Created a Wrangler with Three Rows of Seats for SEMA

"Jeep is taking a page from the Land Rover Defender's book by creating a special stretched version of the Wrangler with an additional row of seats and a stepped roofline. This concept is called the Wrangler Overlook and is headed for the SEMA aftermarket show in Las Vegas next week."
