It looks like you can choose to accept the analogue alternative and keep to the original delivery date, or it’s back to the holding pool, and waiting for whenever.

Is it on all builds or just builds where the interactive display is optional? I.e are they being removed from SE and HSE cars too?

I was wondering if I should have ticked keyless entry then remembered I'd managed the past 5 years without central locking, electric windows and AC so figured I'd probably be fine.

To be honest, mostly looking forward to having a fuel tank bigger than a mouse's bladder. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

It affects all models I understand.

It's a purely aesthetic thing, much bit like the 10" vs 11.4" topic as to what your preference is, (- where I'd go against popular opinion and actually pay for the smaller one if it were an option). But for me personally, the part-plastic / part-electronic dials would bug me. Especially at night, when I would imagine it is pretty much impossible to have the screen and dials set to a matching brightness and contrast. As I've said before, if the whole dial were mechanical then it would look much better. Anyway... hopefully it will return at some point in the future.

That does look a bit of a mess. And it’s staring at you the entire time you’re driving

My build date is a week today, I've not heard anything from the dealer so assume I'm still getting the digital dash - maybe because mine is a PHEV it needs a digital dash to be able to show the Petrol Engine Revs and the Battery consumption/recharging levels simultaneously which the analogue can't do?

Got a phone call today. It’s been removed from my SE - and there is no way I want the analogue dash as it looks awful. “Significant delays expected” 14-18 month wait.

Thought about taking delivery then selling it on? Someone will take it and going on autotrader prices you could make a fair bit of profit. I just got the call too. Going to wait it out. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

they told me that the options were take it with analogue dash or cancel and reorder... thats not really a solution as the digital dash is now no longer an option on the 90HT, so interesting to know what they mean by you can wait it out?

Sorry, poor use of words. I'm not going to cancel and stick with basic dash and take delivery in October. That picture is actually a pretty bad picture. What I saw in real life wasn't so bad - was MPH rather than KPH and that photo has a lot going on in the screen.

A few screen grabs from youtube videos. Doesn't look so bad IMO here.

I think I would cancel, unless it had an offer to refit when available. Its a 70k car and the default is a digital interactive dash.

I have a 90HT with the analogue display and actually quite like it.

I'm currently driving a Evoque for a few days which has the full digital dash and I can't say I have a great preference for it.

The evoque also has the rear facing camera/mirror on the windscreen ..... now that is something that I will miss. I should have spec'd that on the option list. D5. Previously 90HT, D4, D4, D4, D2, D1 (3 door V8!)

Do you think this is a realistic option? Would be tempted but I wonder what’s the risk of losing money?

The digital dash adds no value but I’d be asking for £500 discount or free first service. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue
