I do not know if this will help but I also have an Alisport intercooler fitted to a 200TDi albeit a right-hand drive. Mine was fitted at the front of a full-size radiator and I had no problems in fitting it. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Thanks, this would work I guess, but I have a double core intercooler which is a direct replacement for the original intercooler - and it's only so tight because it's a LHD (steering box). |

When ordering the intercooler did you advise them it was for a LHD? ONE LIFE, GET IT!

Another thing that struck me, the mounts for the frame / radiator look different on mine and are positioned much more towards the engine. I thought the chassis is the same from 1987 on, am I wrong?
