Collect Monday. Alloys being fitted on handover.
10 months to the day from ordering. I am sure it'll be worth the wait 😊 |

Click image to enlarge The JLR Poole paint shop colour coded to match V8 with the satin grey inserts. Standard brake calipers painted in same colour as V8. Blue/Turquoise front, gloss black rear. Side steps now fitted. Nearly 2 weeks in and we are blown away by it. Absolutely stunning vehicle to drive. The 3.0 straight six as smooth as our old E90 330d and our current F31 330d. Sounds nice, nothing like a diesel. Feels much more than 200bhp. Last edited by thepetrolhead on 14th Aug 2021 4:26pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Click image to enlarge #Andy talk to Louis. I am working on the parts needed to complete the Brembo 6 pot brake upgrade, I've got a company that can do colour match to V8 on 6 pot Brembos. Since collection I had paint correction. 2 stage polish treatment and canubra wax. If your hardtop was mine, I'd go down the exact look of a Carpathian Grey V8 Carpathian was my second choice of colour, but chuffed I went black, despite the pain in the Harris cleaning! One thing I've found out, is my spec could have only been assigned for a mater of weeks. Lots of options on mine you can no longer get. Last edited by thepetrolhead on 14th Aug 2021 4:24pm. Just ordered Defender Console Tray
Part Number: LR131904. I wondered why the cup holder tray didn't have a cover on it. Apparently removed from MY22. Although I noted it's fitted to the V8 Click image to enlarge |

They look like standard calipers painted, you beat me to the colour but great minds and all that. I was going the route of matching to a V8 Carpathian edition but I wanted something just a little different so I'm going to match this car in terms of colours but not all the added bits: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/2...dal=photos I'm going down the PPF route with just an impact level so all the vunerable parts on the front and down the sides but I will also get the paint sorted too, not sure if they arrive in a bad shape or not but yours looks proper shiny now. |

The pictures are taken the day I picked it up.
They are the standard calipers, as stated in previous post. Painted as a service provided by the dealership. I will at some point, fit Blue Brembo 6 pots, just for the look, as fitted to V8, as below: Click image to enlarge Why don't you ask the dealership to fit them to yours now before collection? |

That one has the wide arch kit fitted. I've seen that one. Prefer the standard alloys. |
