I made a binnacle from fiberglass as the original ones seems to fall apart after a weekend in the sun and I did not fancy the metal alternatives.
Perhaps an idea. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

You don't say what model you've got but on the XS versions the colour of paint for the centre console was Brunel, the same as the grill and headlight surrounds. Darren

I think making a replacement fascia/console might be a little out of my remit! |

Hi Darren, It's a county spec. But that could be an option. I was hoping to keep the factory county look. |

Mud stuff sell both single and double DIN centre consoles. Not cheap, but well made.

I have looked into that option. I know that they have improved on the Land Rover design but like you say, not cheap. |

Can I have 2nd dibs if Freddie does not want it anymore? Of course if you are interested to post, or pack for courier collection. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

If anyone one wants the blanking plate for the headlamp levelling switch cutout, I have one going spare.

First thing I did back then was bin the Brunel grey console and fitted a standard black one. Replacement standard black centre consoles back then were £32 from Land Rover! |
