OK, here's the thing.
Looking for suggestions for a small 4x4 for Mrs MBD, we live about 2 miles from nearest tarmac, track to the house can get naughty in the winter (hence 4x4 needed). It will only do about 1-2,000 miles per year, so MPG is not an issue, as we dont want to give our hard earned to Mr. Sunak low road tax is nice, reliability is high up the list of must haves. As for budget, ideally less than £15k, nearer £10k is better leaving me budget for my toys Jumped ship to reliability - Mitsubishi L200 Puma 90 XS - Sold D3 - 2.7 S x2 (both Sold) Freelander 2 HSE - Sold Freelander 1 - Sold Disco 2 - Sold |

The current model Jimny gets my vote, they are very difficult to get hold of if you want new but Suzuki say they are importing more soon. Ride like you stole it!!

If fuel consumption isn’t an issue, my Carrera 4 wasn’t a big car… and fun to drive. Very affordable too

Panda or Jimny. Both extremely capable in the snow with decent tyres fitted.
Panda is obviously more car like and lacks selectable 4wd and low box. Jimny is like a miniature LR in many ways and arguably easier to maintain at home. |
