New to the Defender World
Decided to venture to the dark side and start looking for a Defender, at first couldn’t decide on a 90 or 110, but had to be a utility (TAX purposes 😉), eventually settling for a 110, let the search begins, searched the net for a few weeks, then came across a low mileage 39k 2011, 110 Utility in Northen Ireland, a couple of phone calls, and a deal was done.
Flight and return ferry booked.
So now in position of this,
So hopefully many trouble free miles to come, a few cosmetic changes carried out and planed, but a great starting point

Found these images in your gallery - is it the defender in question, as it has the rear windows for a station wagon unless they've been retrofitted? Very Happy Stuart

Just cosmetic, both internal and external, no real changes, looking to change roof to black now that roof rack removed

2.4, obviously the last off, TBH it was my preferred option to the 2.2, just going by other peoples suggestions

Yep same as mine. The 2.2 seems to be a great engine, but likewise 2.4 is preferred for me. Even if it is a bit more noise - but it is a Defender so not expecting silence Rolling with laughter

Correct answer if I wanted silence I wouldn’t be driving the Defender would have stuck with Range Rover Sport, very different animal, a lot more character with defender Cool Cool
