If they are that will be why the 110 hard top doesn't have the rear door release switch. Cheers Ian -------------------- 22MY Defender 110 D200 SE, Fuji White. Kielder 4x4 Safari Instagram @defender_v8 |

I’m sure that an internal release is the law in the US… Any of our friends from across the pond, do you have a manual release somewhere? Cheers, David

Greg...what model year is that? My 2021 110 HT doesn't have that button... 2020 First Ed 110.

The 110 wont have that button as if you are stuck inside you are able to get out via the 2nd row doors, the 90 only has that button because if you were stuck inside there is no way to open the door otherwise Cheers Ian

what about the 7 seater? Do these Defender have this button?
I find it strange that one can't open the taildoor from the inside. What if you have the doggrid inside and a strong wind or another person closes the door when you are inside? Imprisoned? 22MY Defender 110 (actual) | 10MY Freelander 2 (history) | 15MY Discovery Sport HSE (history) |

No manual release that I'm aware of. I did not have a manual release on my Discovery 5 either, but you could open the tailgate with the remote. |
