On the 110 HT is there any way to open what would be the passenger doors from inside the cargo compartment?

I believe so, I think they are just regular 110 doors.

If they are that will be why the 110 hard top doesn't have the rear door release switch. Cheers Ian

The 110 hard top second row doors can be opened the same as the passenger vehicle. The rear door does not have an internal opening facility. 130's have feeling's as well you know Smile

I’m sure that an internal release is the law in the US… Any of our friends from across the pond, do you have a manual release somewhere? Cheers, David

The 110 wont have that button as if you are stuck inside you are able to get out via the 2nd row doors, the 90 only has that button because if you were stuck inside there is no way to open the door otherwise Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

what about the 7 seater? Do these Defender have this button?
I find it strange that one can't open the taildoor from the inside.
What if you have the doggrid inside and a strong wind or another person closes the door when you are inside? Imprisoned? 22MY Defender 110 (actual) | 10MY Freelander 2 (history) | 15MY Discovery Sport HSE (history)

No manual release that I'm aware of. I did not have a manual release on my Discovery 5 either, but you could open the tailgate with the remote.
