Another Tasman blue that got delivered today. A bit rainy unfortunately, but a very nice experience anyway.
Got the khaki interior and it came without the "easystain" cloth sections.
All very happy so far that it turned up as ordered and feels really nice to drive Very Happy
Now need to get those classic mudflaps installed.

United Kingdom 2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Santorini Black
I think that is my favourite colour combination I've seen.
It's funny, when it first came out all the ones around here seemed to be green but now it's been out a while almost every one I see on the road is black. WARNING.

I love how tasman changes shade so much under different lights. Sometimes almost grey, sometimes sky blue

Tasman is probably the best colour for the new Defender, but then I’m biased Very Happy

Blue with white roof is OK
But green with black roof is better! Rolling with laughter Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Although the Tasmin/horse box combo does look really smart. And the Tasmin/white roof and white steelies combo is also really top notch.

Been thinking about wrapping the roof white and putting some white steelies on. Not decided yet Question
Done 5500km in the 3 months so far, no issues and we like it.

But this evening with lovely weather I took a drive around the small country roads here with our green 2-door RRC, windows down, listening to the V8 and enjoying the smell of unfiltered exhaust fumes mixed with freshly cut grass Thumbs Up 110 SE D200 MY21 Tasman blue

Been on a vacation trip last week, covering 2500km/1550miles during a trip to the north of Sweden, towing our old caravan which is about 1450kg. No drama or issues at all, the Defender handled it all very well.
Some good things I have noticed:
- Very stable during towing, feels even a bit better than the D3/D4's I've had before
- Engine pulls very well, all "normal" hills are managed in top gear, even as low as 1100 rpm and no downshift is triggered. If it's very steep hill, it downshifts one gear and revs to around 1600 rpm and then it manages "everything".
- Fuel consumption when towing is reasonable at 11,5l / 24,5mpg and with the fairly large tank, it gets a good range between filling up's.
- Comfort and space in cabin is great, making long distances easy to cover, air suspension making travel on rough roads a joy.
- Navigation and Pivi setup is useful, first vehicle where I actually are able to use voice commands to navigate with good results, both from built in Navigation and google maps via carplay. The ability to easy connect and play pod's and music from different devices is helping a lot as well.

Some things that could be better:
-Side mirrors are not great, providing limited visibility when backing up. My caravan mirrors were not possible to attach so need to find another solution.
-Rear mounted spare tyre is in the way when hooking up. Opening the rear door open helps, but then care is needed to not damage it in the process.

Your trip looks amazing and thanks for telling us about your observations. It does look great in Tasmin.
