Checked again, both sections dealing with levelling and cleaning devices apply to HID and LED, but only where fitted. Happy to be corrected if I've read that wrong.

My understanding was gas discharge had to have levelling and cleaning while led was only if fitted before / as from factory.

I checked the rules as best i could, the landy was fine as far as i could make out. It got more complicated on my wife’s car which has halogens but there’s no emarked replacement units.
