Might sound very bad or inhumane, but my best deterrent was gluing pins to any surface that I do not want them to stay (for their own safety mind you - I am a huge animal lover).
I think it is better that they get pricked and run away than worse. They learn very fast, and will only get pricked once. Unfortunately I witness a small kitten getting trapped in an engine bay.. I will spare the details. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

Oh dear, that could end up being very nasty indeed!
At least you caught it in time! Perhaps you can fit some sort of chicken coop mesh to somehow block access? Defender 130 HCPU Td5 MY2000 Last edited by RoadForce on 23rd Jul 2021 9:00am. Edited 1 time in total |

It was one of the dogs that alerted me that the cat was there. Not the brightest of dogs and probably kicking herself for not keeping quiet! 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X

Is lion poo available from Tesco's in Northamptonshire? Could always try Amazon? You're not far from Woburn. I will add that I don't offer any advice on stopping to collect the stuff
I think you are all over thinking it. The simple solution is to stop driving the truck. If you own a cat, you soon realise that you live with the cat and not the other way round. If that's where the cat wants to sit, how dare its staff even contemplate using their Land Rover??? |

There must be a way of making something by fitting some right angled tabs to the shroud then cutting some mesh that could be zip tied to it.
https://www.diy.com/departments/zinc-plate...276_BQ.prd B and Q should be able to help out with the parts. Good luck, and even more good luck to your cat. |

I hate to say but i recon some poor cat has ended up been sliced to pieces doing the same thing. They do like to sit in arches of cars etc. So they say its always best to check, before setting off. Just in case someones family member has decided to have a kip. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |
