The Delphine doesn’t hang around...arrived 0900 today at Zeebrugge at is due 0900 tomorrow at Kilingholme. Presumably the ship has discharged and reloaded a full complement of new vehicles the same day. Perhaps some more Defenders arriving tomorrow.
My Defender was released by Nitra on Friday after waiting for a part and moved to distribution. I’m not sure how long it takes to load and rail up to Zeebrugge, but maybe it will arrive there in time for the Delphine return to BEZEE on Monday. |

So my first thoughts were wow and second thoughts were wow
Covered 260 miles since Friday and so far no rattles, squeaks, bangs etc and the engine note is superb - throaty roar and plenty of get up and go. Again, so far everything works as it should although it would seem the music system will not support or play my ipod which is annoying - need to look into that further. Hatfields have been great when dealing with me (I am a difficult customer I know) and the hand over was very good so a big thank you to Charlie and Rob - excellent job Some pics below at pick up and I will write a more comprehensive report later; Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. Decent usage of the taller screen size I see - that's good! Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history) |
