My Puma is now here
Well actually a couple of weeks ago. Just got round to taking some photos:

First job fresh from the dealership was to remove the silly side steps and fit some stainless runners and fit my own tow hitch Thumbs Up

On the to do list: Dinitrol, Nak glove box and door strut, mud rear side pannels, Parrot hands free, that will do for now,

Problems so far: rattle by front wheel (diagnosis = missing anti rattle springs on the front off side brake pads) Ill phone the dealership tomorrow and hopefully get them to either pick it up, or come over to fit the missing springs Wink 15 plate 2.2SW XS

It would be even better if I had sold my TD5. But on the bright side I love looking out the window at home and seeing them side by side Thumbs Up 15 plate 2.2SW XS

Looks very smart Matt! Reckon you should just keep the Td5 as well - always good to have a spare Very Happy. Certainly be good to give it a good wax (or 'Zagging' as I believe it's now called) whilst it's all new a shiny. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

looks like mine apart from its shorter and has no windows at the side ! Laughing
And you know what - they look nicer with the black grille. I was originally disappointed that Brunel grilles weren't available in Ireland but black really suits Orkney grey Thumbs Up

Would love to keep the Td5 as well, but think my wish list may never happen until I get a bit of money back into my account Shocked 15 plate 2.2SW XS

Looking good Matt Thumbs Up

I am looking for a TD5 90, yours would be ideal but is way over what I can afford, or, more to the point, what SWHMBO says I can spend Big Cry

There was an 03 90 SW in white stopped outside our house this afternoon whilst the rather attractive blonde female driver was taking a mobile phone call - I was going to interrupt her conversation and see if she wanted to sell it but for some reason I was restrained by someone Laughing

Gotta say I much prefer the sound of my Td5 over the Puma engine. Thumbs Up 15 plate 2.2SW XS

now that my Puma has stopped rattling after 4k miles it has a lovely meaty growl to it. You'd never think there was just 120 bhp in there Laughing But yes I have to say TD5s sound more distinctly LR rather than the white van man TDCI. Not complaining though !

isn't it amusing that we buy these new vehicles and immediately start modding or personalising them?

Also interesting the different ways we do it!

Enjoy your new vehicle.

Happy new truck Matt.......

One of my favourite songs seems appropriate...........

Replace 'Jaguar' with 'Dee-fen-dar'.... works rather well IMO Thumbs Up

Even better if it's got (part) leather seats and a CD player....... Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.
